Instacare Home Health Solutions provides our senior community with excellence in care and support. In addition, our goal is to reinforce our standards of care through education and training specific to industry trends.

Job Placement Assistance

Upon completion of the Instacare Training Course, a PROMISE OF EMPLOYMENT is provided to assist graduates with job placement through Instacare Home HealthSolutions LLC. Graduates are required by the New Jersey Board of Nursing to have an employment location in order for their Certified Home Health Aide license status to become active.

Student Complaints

All students have the right to file a complaint in good faith. In most cases, complaints should be filed with the staff and management of Instacare Training Center. Complaints may also be filed with the NewJersey Board of Nursing, located in 124 Halsey St, Newark, NJ 07102.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Payments will be refunded 100% (excluding a $25 administrative fee), if cancellation is taken in writing14 days prior to the first day of class. There are no refunds if cancellation is taken less than 14 days before the first day of class. The applicant may reschedule for another class for up to 6 months from the original start date due to unforeseen circumstances.

Program Credits

Instacare Training Center does not grant nor accept official transcripts of credits earned from other institutions previously attended for the Conversion Training Program, nor does the institution claim that credits are available through completion of the Conversion Training Program to be transferred to another institution.


Instacare Cares

Instacare Training Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, citizenship, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, veteran status or any other status protected by law. Instacare Training Center reserves the right to solicit information relative to your suitability for the training for which you are being considered.

To be in compliance with The New Jersey State Law Regulations regarding criminal history background check, Instacare Training Center requires that all students enrolled in the Certified Home Health Aide Training Course obtain a Fingerprint/Criminal Background Check.

Please note that New Jersey State Law provides that a person will be disqualified from certification if that person's criminal history record background check has not been cleared. This confirms that Instacare Training Center reserves the right to drop such students from the class with no tuition funds refunded.

This application is for training and does not constitute an offer of employment. Eligibility for employment will be determined after the prosper student has obtained their Certified Home Health Aide license, and the employment application process is successfully completed.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in training programs provided by InstacareTrainingCenter and the use of its facilities and equipment where applicable, I do hereby waive, release and forever discharge Instacare Training Center and all its directors, officers, agents, employees, representatives, successors and assigns, and all others from any and all responsibility or liability for injuries or damages resulting in my participation in any training program activities. I release all of those mentioned, from any responsibility or liability for any damage or injury to myself, including those caused by the negligent act or omission of any of those mentioned or others acting on their behalf, or in any way arising out of or connected with my participation in any of the contemplated activities or in the use of equipment through Instacare Training Center or otherwise. I also hereby further agree to indemnify and hold the Company and all those named or identified herein harmless in the event that anyone claiming any cause of action as a result of injury to participant attempts at any time to institute any claim or suit against Instacare Training Center arising out of any of the activities or programs herein or in the use of any equipment.

In witness whereof, the participant has executed this Express Assumption of Risk / Prospective Waiver of Liability and Release Agreement as of the date below, which will be binding upon them and the irrespective heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.


Admission Requirements

Your admission is subject to meeting the requirements as set out in the Instacare Training Center procedures for registration and enrollment. You must comply with the terms and conditions set out in this document, the provisions of the New Jersey Board of Nursing ordinances, regulations, guidelines,rules, policies, and codes of practice that are currently in force, which govern your studies and learning at the training center.

At a minimum, to qualify for this course, you must provide at the time of registration:

  • Must be age 18 or older
  • High School diploma or verifiable prior work experience (if applicable)
  • Signed passport photo, 2" X 2" in size of the applicant's head and shoulders
  • Social security card
  • Immigration status proof (if applicable)

Notwithstanding the above, a student's enrollment and completion of the program does not guarantee employment.

Application Procedures

In addition to the admission criteria, each student will be required to follow the standard application procedures to ensure all policies and terms of the program are met in accordance with the institution and New Jersey Department of Nursing. The individual will contact the agency representative to obtain information regarding availability for the scheduled classes, pricing, and payment options. The institution will provide information for on-site inquiries via e-mail or mail.

All students will review the terms of the admission catalog prior to registration. Upon all parties being satisfied with the terms of the program and to secure a placement with the said scheduled program,the student will complete the application, and pay the required deposit. The student will receive a receipt of payment and will be assigned to a scheduled class.


Course Outline
Certified Home Health Aide Course

The program has been designed to provide a basic level of both knowledge and clinical skills to individuals who will provide home care related services. The complete course will be a total of 76hours, which consist of 60 hours Online Education and 16 hours Clinical Classroom Training.

The first portion of the course, Online Education (60 hours), will be conducted over a duration of three(3) weeks. The second portion of the course, the Clinical Classroom Training (16 hours), will be broken up in two/three (2/3) days. The time frames specified are all based on the inclusion of both classroom and clinical, however, shall be subject to change due to holidays and/or unexpected occurrences which are out of the control of the institution. The student has two months, from the start of the course, to finish the online portion. If the online portion is not completed, Instacare Training Center has the right to forfeit the student's seat from the course.

The program shall maintain a minimum of six (6) enrollments per course. Each class shall not exceed ten(10) students per instructor for the Classroom Clinical Training.

If the start date of classes is rescheduled, each student shall be notified via mail, phone, or email.For class cancellation due to inclement weather, sickness or other unforeseen circumstance, notification shall be provided via phone and/or e-mail.

As per regulatory guidelines, each student shall participate in the use of equipment such as wheel chairs and Hoyer lift.

Program Objective

To provide a basic level of both knowledge and clinical skills for individuals to provide home care services to residents in private homes.

Training Program Equipment

As a requirement, the Home Health Aide Training Program shall ensure that appropriate equipment is available on-site for direct use and demonstration for all students with the supervision of the program instructor.

Enrollment

Each prospective student will be required to complete the enrollment process, which includes the review of this admission packet, completed application, hold harmless agreement, student attestation, required documentation and payment/deposit for the program.


Hold Harmless Agreement

Please note: Any classes that do not meet the minimum student requirement listed in the Admissions Catalog, one week prior to the start of class, may be canceled.Students already enrolled will have the choice of deferring to the next scheduled class or receive a full refund.

Instacare Training Center and students acknowledge that there is some risk of accident or injury associated with the use of equipment and other aspects of the course of study, including but not limited to direct care and contact of other students, clients, patients, or residents at the clinical or training facility site.

Student does hereby waive, release, and discharge Instacare Training Center of all liability and claims for damages for death, personal injury, or property damage which student may have or which hereafter accrue to them as a result of participation in the program whether or not caused by negligence or fault of Instacare Training Center.

This release is intended to discharge the school and its officers, employees, representatives, students,volunteers, and agents from and against all liability arising out of or connected in any way with my participation in the training, internship/externship, hands-on activities, practice, or other activities.

Knowing risks exist, nevertheless, I hereby agree to assume those risks and to release and to hold harmless all persons or agencies mentioned above that might otherwise be liable to me or my heirs or assigns for damages. I further understand and agree that this waiver, release, and assumption of risk is to be binding on my heirs and assigns.

In addition, I give permission to receive, if necessary, emergency medical services by authorized personnel, and that any cost incurred as a result of such medical treatment will be my responsibility.

The total cost for training must be paid in full before your clinical session begins. Instacare TrainingCenter will contact you to arrange for your final payment.

Fee Schedule

The Home Health Aide Training Program will consist of 60 hours of Online Education and 16 hours ofClassroom Clinical Training. The following reflects the fees associated with the program including relevant charges/provisions of which the student is responsible:

The total amount due for the certification program is $549.00 . (Fees include: 60 hours of Online Education, and 16 hours of Classroom Clinical Training and the NJ BON fee)

The course cost breakdown is as follows:

  • INITIAL START UP DEPOSIT UPON SIGNING UP FOR COURSE: $250.00
    • *Initial deposit is transferable 1 time to the next class before the payment process has to be started from the beginning.
  • BEFORE TAKING THE FINAL EXAM: $299.00
    • $219 for the remainder of the course- which includes the Clinical portion and graduation certification.
    • $80 fee is included in the total balance of the training course. These fees are associated with the processing of individual certification, including the licensing fee to the State of New Jersey Department of Nursing.

We currently accept Check*, Cash or Credit Cards**.

*There is a charge for all returned checks.

**There is a processing fee for credit cards. (3%)


Student Attestation

I fully understand and acknowledge the information explained in the enrollment process into theInstacare Training Center's Home Health Aide Training Program, including but not limited to:

Instacare Training Center makes no claim or guarantee that credits earned will/can be transferred to another institution nor does the agency grant/accept any official transcripts of credits earned from other institutions to be applied to this program.

I have been informed that I must receive a pass grade of 80% or more to pass online quizzes and exams and become eligible to participate in 16 hours of clinical classroom time.

I have been fully informed of the procedure to report a complaint through the Institution and, if necessary to The New Jersey Board of Nursing, located in 124 Halsey St, Newark, NJ 07102

I attest that I have reviewed and acknowledged receipt of the Instacare Training Center of the student agreement and subsequent sections.
